Water Fuel Cars - Scam Or Savior?

Water fuel cars have been getting a lot of press lately. With gas prices rising higher than they've ever been and showing no sign of letting up anytime soon, it seems likely that we'll never see gas under $3 a gallon again. With that being said, it's no wonder that water fuel cars have been getting so much attention. A number of guides are being sold nowadays which claim that the average person can convert their automobile into one of these water fuel cars easily and affordably and on average about double their gas mileage.

I have a 1993 Toyota corolla that my parents got rid of years ago which I took off their hands to mess around with. I thought it would be the perfect "average" vehicle to convert into a water fuel car. It averaged just under 30 mpg on the highway before I did anything to it I calculated. I got my hands on one of these guides and found all the necessary parts at my local conglomerate which was nice. All in all the parts cost me around $50, not too bad.

As I said, I like to mess around with cars and their engines so I know a thing or two about getting under the hood. The guide I purchased was very straight forward and written so that the average person would be able to understand the various step by step directions and terms which was a nice feature. If it were too complex I can imagine it would turn most people off from even trying it. All in all it took me just one Sunday afternoon to put together one of my own water fuel cars. I added a few ounces of tap water and I was ready to test it out.

First test, I turned on the car and it didn't blow up. Good start, I thought. I started off slow with a couple of drives around the block. Pretty nice, but I knew I wouldn't notice a significant difference until I took it out on the open road. I decided to take it out on the highway and notified a friend of my whereabouts, you know, just in case.

Well I reset my speedometer at the beginning of the trip and I drove about 200 miles that evening and I'll say I was shocked. It was working. The most rewarding part of the trip was seeing my car's gas gauge hardly move at all. When I got back to my neighborhood I filled up at my local gas station. I spent about $10 on gas to refill it to the top like I started out with. After some not so fast math I calculated that I averaged a little over 60 mpg with my water fuel car, I was more than pleasantly surprised, shocked even, that it was true. That was about 8 months ago, and since then I've converted my mother's car, as well. She couldn't be happier.

I looked into a few more guides since then as they all tend to vary slightly, each have their strengths and weaknesses and so on. Visit [http://yourreviewsite.com/Water%20For%20Fuel/index.html]http://www.yourreviewsite.com/WaterForFuel/index.html where I've compiled reviews and information on my favorite guides and you can pick based on your needs as to which would work best for you. Double your mileage today, it's easier than you think.
